Fall 2021 Must Do Events

Fall is here and it’s time for pumpkin picking, apple cider pressing, and changing leaves. Not to mention, there are so many wonderful, family fun events going on. Check out the below must-do events in the Lock Haven area for Fall 2021. Can’t wait to see you in your “sweater weather” gear!

Must Do activities not related to an event:

  4. Check out a book at the local Ross Library for yourself or read a book to your children while relaxing under a tree enjoying the crisp fall sweater weather. https://rosslibrary.org/
  5. “Do Good, Be Kind” to Downtown and our Planet. Pick-up a piece of trash, and throw it away in one of the garbage cans Downtown. Gather your leaves in your yard and let kids jump in them. Laughing is the cure for happiness. https://www.facebook.com/events/725180165021247/

  7. Camp fire weather. Sit by a camp fire and have fun with friends and family. Tell a ghost story or create a musical instrument with only the things around you.
  8. Stop in Simone’s Bakery, and enjoy fresh FALL themed baked goods like pumpkin twists, pumpkin cups, pumpkin pies and more. October 2 – SPCA Pet Extravaganza & Fair

Riverview Park, 193 Farrandsville Rd. Lock Haven
10am-3pm

October 2 – Brews in the Barn Beer Tasting Festive & Chili Cook-Off

Millbrook Playhouse, 258 Country Club Ln., Mill Hall
4-8pm
A 21+ event. Sample beers from craft breweries, home brewers, nationally-known craft brews and distilleries. Sample & vote for your favorite chili from among restaurants and home cooks. Haywood’s on the Green caters & entertainment by the Clark McLane Band. $40 at the door. Tickets online at MillbrookPlayhouse.org.

October 8-10 :  PA State Flaming Foliage Festival

Renovo, PA
9am Daily

October 16 & 17 : ‘Christmas in the Barns’

October 21-24 : LHU Homecoming Weekend

Multiple locations – Please check link below. 2 parades and campus events
Oct. 21st – 6 pm Downtown Keystone Central School District/LHU Homecoming Parade – Oct. 21st – 7 pm Annual Golf Cart Parade – North Fairview St and in the University Commons The University welcomes alum back to campus for Homecoming. October 23 – Lock Haven Catholic School Fall Festival

Over 30 Vendors so there is something for everyone. Food trucks and food vendors, silent auction sponsored by every classroom.
